Mr. Liu Thomas A., an independent non-executive Director of the Company, primarily responsible for providing independent advice to the Board.

Mr. Liu has over 30 years of senior leadership experience in supply chain logistics, manufacturing, industrial automation, risk management and operations, covering Asia Pacific, North America and Europe. He currently serves as a senior advisor of China Harbour Engineering Company Limited and a member of the Investment Committee of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. Prior to joining the Group, he served as the president of Prologis Inc. in Greater China from September 2020 to December 2023, responsible for operations, business development, capital deployment, venture investment and mergers and acquisitions, and concurrently served as an independent director of GigaCloud Technology Inc. (a company listed on Nasdaq, stock code: GCT) from August 2022 to August 2023. Before that, Mr. Liu served as the head of capital of Wanda Capital from September 2014 to March 2020, responsible for capital deployment, strategic acquisitions, financing and risk management of Dalian Wanda Group (a multinational conglomerate across multiple industries). He also served as a managing director of Blue Mountain Capital from August 2009 to September 2014, responsible for operational value-added projects and fundraising, and as the managing director of Honeywell in Greater China from June 2006 to August 2009, driving significant revenue growth for the company. Mr. Liu also held leadership positions at Lear Corporation and Johnson Controls, driving notable growth in the automotive and manufacturing industries.

Mr. Liu received his bachelor’s degree in manufacturing systems engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute (currently known as Kettering University) in September 1989, his master’s degree in systems design engineering from University of Waterloo in April 1992 and his EMBA degree in finance and investment from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in April 2012.
