Dr. Zhang Jie (张劼) is a non-executive director and the chairman of the Board of the Company. He is primarily responsible for overseeing the management and operations of our Group.

Dr. Zhang currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Greater China at MicroPort Scientific Corporation ("MicroPort", a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, stock code: 853). As an outstanding technical leader of Shanghai, he also serves as an in-company mentor for master's degree students at Zhejiang University, East China University of Science and Technology, and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. Dr. Zhang joined MicroPort in 2007. As a core R&D member and key inventor of the Firehawk^® stent, he has effectively overcome complex technical challenges and obtained multiple domestic and international invention patents. Since joining MicroPort, Dr. Zhang has played a crucial role in the development of new technologies and new products. He has led the R&D efforts of numerous business units at MicroPort, while also incubating emerging products in the fields of ophthalmology, otolaryngology, dentistry, and medical aesthetics. Over the past 17 years, Dr. Zhang has accumulated numerous innovative achievements, having been awarded the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the China Patent Silver Award, and currently holds 53 granted patents both domestically and internationally.

Dr. Zhang received his bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering from Zhejiang University of Technology in 2002, his master's degree in Measurement Technology and Instruments from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 2007, and his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 2021.
